On January 30th we took our flat track set up to Sandy Point State park to help raise money for the Special Olympics of Maryland. The Polar Bear Plunge has evolved into a HUGE festival of music, food, and drink where people jump into the frigid waters of the Chesapeake Bay for charity. Travis and I ran races for 8 hours giving everyone an opportunity to experience Micro Speedway Racn for free, just give a small donation. Fun was had by everyone who came over. BIGG NEWS!!! We are currently in talks with the people at Ashmore Design (www.ashmoredesign.com) to create a Gold Cup Race Body for our BRP race cars. The Gold Cup Series will debut in 2012 featuring cars powered by NASCAR sized motors yet half the weight! These cars will race on ovals and road courses as well yet cost a fraction of what most race cars cost.
